Frequently asked questions

Do you come onsite during business hours?

No. Onsite installs, moves and visits are scheduled evenings and weekends, after you close, so your team never loses a workday. During the day we help remotely by email and remote session.

What if something breaks in the middle of the workday?

Email us. We reply by email, usually within a few hours, and most problems can be handled with a remote session. If something needs hands-on work, we'll schedule an evening or weekend visit. We don't offer 24/7 emergency coverage.

How do I reach you? Is there a phone number?

We are email-first and have no phone line. Use the contact form or email hello@installmytech.com. Every request gets a written reply, which also gives you a record of what was agreed.

Will you sign an NDA or confidentiality agreement?

Yes. We're happy to sign a reasonable NDA or confidentiality agreement before reviewing your systems. If you're a healthcare practice and need a Business Associate Agreement (BAA), ask us before work begins and we'll discuss scope.

Do you sell hardware?

We recommend specific equipment and can help you buy it, but you purchase hardware and software licenses in your own business's name so the warranties and accounts belong to you. Hardware isn't included in our prices.

How does payment work?

Fixed-price projects are quoted in writing before work begins and invoiced on completion (larger projects may require a deposit). Managed IT support plans are billed monthly in advance. We invoice electronically by email.

Do I have to sign a long-term contract?

No. Projects are one-off and fixed-price. Managed IT support plans are month-to-month and can be cancelled with 30 days' notice.

Do you run network cables or install wiring?

No. We configure and support technology using your existing wiring. We don't run cabling or perform low-voltage contracting work; if you need new cable drops we can refer you to a licensed contractor.

What areas do you serve?

What size businesses do you work with?
